Whether you are new to the area or are a seasoned Houstonian, you’ll find so many amazing restaurants that it can be difficult to choose where to eat. Luckily, Marquette at Piney Point Apartments is right down the road from three of the tastiest brunch restaurants in Houston.
Bosscat Kitchen and Libations
For lighter fare, seasonal comfort food, or unique eats with a Texas flair, check out Bosscat Kitchen and Libations. The atmosphere has an industrial feel with a dark bar top and black metal trim. There are also copper accents behind the bar. Bosscat offers Saturday and Sunday brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with single drinks or carafes of mimosas and bellinis. Additionally, ask your server or bartender about tours of the private whiskey room. It houses over 300 select bottles.
State of Grace
Reminiscent of a classic Texas study, State of Grace conveys Texas elegance in a bright and welcoming dining area with wood and leather seating along with antler-accented walls. Brunch is every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The eclectic menu covers Texas and Louisiana Gulf coast favorites, Tex-Mex with a twist, traditional breakfast fare, and fun foodie fusions.
To enjoy a French-style cafe with a champagne theme, visit a’Bouzy. The atmosphere is whimsical. Glass baubles float from the ceiling as though you are dining in a glass of champagne. More than 250 champagne and sparkling wine bottles, with prices from $12 to $2,000, line the walls. Also, brunch features a menu designed to pair well with bubbles. The menu includes some French cuisine, a selection of Texas Gulf items, and traditional breakfasts. You can even enjoy some lunch and entree choices. While you’re there, ask your server about the fresh market raw bar and caviar.
